Construction Launched on 575K-SF RISE at Riverfront Crossings
Chicago-based CA Student Living LLC has begun development of the mixed-use 575,000-square-foot RISE at Riverfront Crossings in downtown Iowa City, IA. Upon completion, RISE will serve students attending University of Iowa with furnished, off-campus housing, and represents the largest mixed-use development in Iowa City.
The project is situated on 1.5 acres at Court and Linn Streets, and will include 332 market-rate apartments, along with a 151-key Hyatt Place hotel. Also included in the development will be 25,000 square feet of Class A office space and 6,000 square feet of ground-level retail space.
RISE is slated for completion by the summer of 2018. Pre-leasing for residents will launch in August 2017.
