Construction Launched on $70M, Dual-Branded Marriott

Marriott International and Noble Investment Group broke ground on AC and Moxy, a dual-Marriott-branded hotel in Midtown Atlanta. The five-story hotel development is going north at a cost of $70 million. The project has a mid-2018 estimated completion date.

AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown, with an entrance on 14th Street, will consist of 133 rooms. The 155-room Moxy Atlanta Midtown’s entrance is on 13th Street. Both hotels will share deck-top amenities that include shared meeting space, outdoor break-out space, health and fitness areas and a rooftop pool and bar.

Noble will also develop a pedestrian connector, called Arts Walk, a ground-level path to provide access for hotel guests and residents to walk from 14th Street to the Crescent Avenue entertainment and dining district. The connector will eventually stretch from the Woodruff Arts Center to high-speed public transportation at the 10th Street MARTA station.
