Construction Launched on 350K-SF Industrial Spec
Transwestern Development Co.’s industrial development arm, Ridge, broke ground on a 351,171-square-foot industrial speculative project in southeast Austin’s Southpark Commerce Center. The three buildings, situated on 24.1 acres, are scheduled for a Q4 2017 delivery.
The buildings measure 73,832 square feet, 114,107 square feet and 162,232 square feet. Transwestern’s Luke Wheeler and Greg Johnson are handling the leasing activities.
The development is near Interstate 35 and State Highway 71, and is part of an overall center that will encompass 2.3 million square feet at final buildout. Ty Puckett and Josh Delk with Transwestern Development Co. led the development of the existing 1.6 million square feet at the park, which was formerly the Barkley Family Farm.
