Construction Launched on $400M 25 Kent

Construction has begun on 25 Kent Avenue, a $400-million mixed-use development dubbed by some as the “biggest thing to happen to the Williamsburg market in over a generation.” Developer Rubenstein Partners believes that the 480,000-square-foot Brooklyn, NY-area property would do well as light manufacturing, office and retail space.

The project is the first to be constructed under new zoning for commercial-industrial developments applying to six blocks on Kent Avenue. The development required approval by the City Planning Commission and City Council, resulting in a larger and more dense property than what had previously been envisioned.
