
Construction is Underway at DFW Commerce Center Buildings 2, 3 and 4
Cushman & Wakefield has been selected to represent developer/landlord CLX Ventures as the exclusive leasing agent of three new industrial properties near DFW Airport. The properties – DFW Commerce Center Buildings 2, 3 and 4 – are currently under construction with anticipated completion in November 2022. The properties will appeal to a variety of users with lease space ranging from 200,000 square feet to 1 million square feet. Kurt Griffin and Nathan Orbin of Cushman & Wakefield will represent CLX Ventures in leasing up the new buildings.
“The DFW metroplex leads the country in the supply of and demand for new industrial distribution space,” said Griffin. “Based on our initial interest and elevated level of activity, we anticipate these projects will be well received by the market.”
The class-A buildings, located at 2501, 2701 and 2801 S. Airfield Dr. in Irving, will feature 32- to 40-foot clear heights, large truck courts and abundant trailer storage. The properties are Phase II of the existing industrial park. DFW Commerce Center Building 1, which was completed in October 2018 and sold in December 2020, is currently leased to an e-commerce tenant.
“The park is located in the middle of the metroplex and offers access to DFW Airport, multiple freeways and a solid labor base,” adds Orbin.
