Construction Finishes on 351K-SF Southpark Commerce Center V
Ridge, the industrial development arm of Tranwestern Development Co., has completed construction on Southpark Commerce Center V in southeast Austin. The 351,171-square-foot industrial building is part of a three-building development near Interstate 35 and SH 71.
Transwestern’s Luke Wheeler and Nash Frisbie are leasing the state-of-the-art buildings. Ben Newell with Ridge led the development team.
Southpark Commerce Center will encompass 2.3 million square feet at final build-out. Ty Puckett and Josh Delk with Transwestern Development Co. led the development of the existing 1.6 million square feet at the park, which was formerly the Barkley Family Farm. Notable tenants include AT&T, Life Technologies Corp., Medline Industries, National Circuit Assembly and Sleep Experts. The Travis Association for the Blind, acquired the only remaining site at the park for a 350,000-square-foot, owner-occupied facility.
The other buildings are designed for multitenant use.
