Construction Begins on Salt Lake City’s Dixon Place MXU
Lowe Property Group began construction on Dixon Place, a mixed-use project in Salt Lake City’s Sugar House District. The project, designed by MVE + Partners, will consist of 59 units and ground-floor commercial space.
The development at 1034 E. Elm Ave. has an estimated completion date of spring 2021. The Sugar House District, on Salt Lake City’s southeast side, provides a nightlife scene that includes breweries, sports bars and cocktail spots, as well as Sugar House Park.
Dixon Place will offer one- and two-bedroom units, while the ground-floor space will house Lowe Property Group’s headquarters. Amenities will include a business lounge and conference room, a fitness center, a no-cost bike share program, a coffee bar and a pool table.
“Salt Lake City is one of the fastest-growing regions in the U.S., and an extremely promising area for multifamily real estate development,” said Pieter Berger, senior associate partner at MVE + Partners.
