Construction Begins on Lincoln Park Residential Development
General contractor Summit Design + Build has officially broke ground at 537 W. Drummond, a seven-story residential development coming to the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago, IL.
This new development will stand 80 feet tall and provide 84 new market-rate units, split into 12 studios, 54 one-bedrooms, and 18 two-bedrooms. The ground floor will contain resident amenities, including a fitness room, conference and coworking spaces, 84 bike parking spaces, and 52 car parking spaces.
The property is located at the site of the historic Covent Theater, which was situated behind the Covent Hotel. Moyer Properties is the project developer, ParkFowler Plus is the project architect, and Catapult Real Estate Solutions is the owner’s representative. Cross Street is the broker, while Principal Asset Management is providing the construction financing.
