Construction Begins on 315-Unit Apartment Complex in Anaheim

MBK Rental Living in joint venture with Haseko Corporation have broken ground on Zia, a five-story, wrap-style apartment community in Anaheim, CA. Located at 1600 W. Lincoln, about 2 miles north of Disneyland, Zia will be comprised of 315 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 600 to 1,900 square feet. The grand opening is slated for mid 2024.

The complex will feature luxury interior finishes including quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances and large-scale windows. Community amenities include a 4,900-square-foot fitness center, entertainment and Zen courtyards, game lounge with duckpin bowling and a dog spa.

“An apartment community of this caliber is in high demand given the strong employment fundamentals and high barriers for entry into home ownership in Orange County,” said MBK Rental Living President Ken McCarren. “First-time homebuyer affordability declined from 41 to 29 percent in just two years which paints a clear picture of the county’s affordability crisis.”
