Construction Begins on 242K-SF of Industrial Space in Woodbridge

Construction began Sept. 26, 2017 on a once-abandoned industrial site in Woodbridge Township, NJ.

“The 1400 Randolph Ave. warehouse development stands as the first phase of a significant redevelopment project that transforms a former abandoned industrial site into a productive commercially successful warehouse and distribution facility,” said Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac.

Principal Real Estate Investors is planning to build 242,296 square feet of new industrial space at the Transport Commerce Center, a giant, new distribution facility in Woodbridge’s Avenel area.

“We expect to see significant demand… the center’s location is superb, offering direct access to the New Jersey Turnpike and to the key New Jersey ports,” said Rob Klinkner, managing director for Principal Real Estate Investors.

CBRE will serve as exclusive leasing and marketing agent for the property.
