Construction Begins on $100M LVL29
NE Development broke ground on what will be Plano, TX’s tallest residential tower. The 328-unit LVL 29 apartment high-rise is going north at a $100 million cost, next door to Liberty Mutual Insurance’s campus in Legacy West. Humphreys & Partners designed the building, which will be just west of the Dallas North Tollway, south of SH 121.
According to Legacy West developer Fehmi Karahan, the tallest building in Legacy business park less than 20 years ago was Electronic Data System’s headquarters, which was approximately eight stories tall. “This is going to be an iconic building,” Karahan said, at the groundbreaking.
One-bedroom apartments are projected to start at $1,700 per month, town homes will begin at $3,000, and penthouses will start at $8,000. The building is expected to deliver by mid-2019, according to the LVL 29 website.
