Corpus Christi, TX will soon have a new marina. Construction has begun on Bluff Bay at 102 Jester St. The marina is being built to handle the increase of the boating and fishing population in the area.

The new area will have storage units to house up to 200 trailered boats, as well as a 500-foot boat dock with room for arrivals and departures. The boats, themselves, will be stored on ground level, and housed inside buildings that are hurricane-wind and salt-resistant.

The storage building is expected to be completed by late January, with the ship store done by the end of February. Opening date of the entire build-out is set for spring, 2017.
