Shorenstein Properties LLC has teamed up with Nichols Partnerships Inc. to break ground on One Platte, a five-story, mixed-use project in downtown Denver. The development, on 1.5 acres at 1701 Platte St., will offer 240,000 square feet of office space and 10,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Newmark Knight Frank is the leasing agent, and The Beck Group is handling the project’s design-build aspects.

Upon completion, the building will have 60,000-square-foot floor plates, and WELL, LEED and WiredScore certifications. Amenities will include a lounge, rooftop terrace, event spaces, a fitness center, bicycle lockers and secure underground parking. Completion of the development is scheduled for early 2022.
