Constellation Eyes 670K-SF Seabrook Warehouse Venture
Constellation Real Estate Partners wants to build two warehouses — a 464,400-square-foot cross-dock and a 205,200-square-foot front-load facility in Seabrook, near the Port of Houston. The project will be on 60 acres on Red Bluff Road just east of State Highway 146. The project still needs city council approval.
The Houston Business Journal reports that Constellation estimates the development will have a taxable value of $75.4 million, generating more than $343,000 in new property taxes annually for the city of Seabrook alone.
The project won’t break ground until the intersection of Highway 146 and Red Bluff Road is completed.
The site is just behind the Seaside RV Resort & Hotel and near The Towers of Seabrook apartment complex and the Baybrook residential subdivision. It’s about 3 miles south of Port Houston’s Bayport Container Terminal and just south of several other large warehouses, including Transwestern Development Co.’s 454,600-square-foot Bayport 146 Distribution Center at 5803 Old Highway 146.
