Consolidated Carpet Signs New HQ Lease
GFP Real Estate, the property manager for 16 W. 22nd St., and building owner the Yagoda family have signed a new 13,000-square foot headquarters lease with Consolidated Carpet. The property is a 12-story, 156,000-square-foot office building in Manhattan’s Flatiron District.
Consolidated Carpeting is a national full‐service flooring and carpet contractor that has been in business since 1943. Barbara Yagoda represented the ownership, while Cushman & Wakefield advised the tenant.
“The building offers strong amenities and a great location in the renowned Flatiron District submarket,” said Yagoda. “When you add in its stable ownership and the capital improvements we’re currently implementing, it becomes an appealing choice for any number of tenants throughout New York City.”
Built in 1910, the property is undergoing a complete lobby renovation. It’s surrounded by many popular dining and shopping options, and is convenient to Penn Station, the PATH and several major subway lines.
