Conn’s Takes Down 45K SF in Killeen

Conn’s Home Plus struck a deal with Woodmont Co. to take down 45,000 square feet at Wendland Plaza in Killeen, TX. The 192,322-square-foot Wendland Plaza, at 1101 S. Fort Hood St., is adjacent to the Fort Hood Military Base main housing community.

Grant Gary and Dan Rebensdorf, of Dallas-based Woodmont, represented the landlord. The center is 75% leased to tenants including Altitude Trampoline Park, Starbucks and UPS Store.

“Conn’s Home Plus is a great addition to Wendland Plaza and the surrounding community,” Gary said, adding that Woodmont anticipates additional new tenant announcements in the near future. Wendland Plaza is the site of a former Kmart, which closed in March 2017.
