Conn’s HomePlus Headed to Former Toys R Us

The latest potential back-fill news concerning a vacant Toys R Us/Babies R Us location is at the Forum at Olympia Parkway, 8270 Agora Pkwy. in Selma, TX, a suburb of San Antonio. The 47,628-square-foot space on the northeast side of the metro will hold a Conn’s HomePlus store, according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The remodel is scheduled for completion by the end of summer, 2019.

Conn’s HomePlus, headquartered in The Woodlands, TX, indicated it is planning to open 12-15 new stores in fiscal 2020. The company has 125 stores in 14 states, including eight in the San Antonio area. It’s uncertain when the store will open.
