Conn’s Coming to SanMar Plaza
Conn’s HomePlus is taking the vacant 40,000-square-foot space at the 185,000-square-foot SanMar Plaza in San Marcos, TX. The furniture, appliance and electronics store is scheduled to open sometime in Q1 2018. The new store is expected to bring 20 new jobs to San Marcos.
The retail space at 917 SH 80, formerly occupied by a Hastings Entertainment Center, has been vacant since late 2016. Hastings Entertainment filed for bankruptcy during the summer of 2016.
Dunhill Partners, in partnership with Ratel Investments, has owned the center since early 2009. Other tenants include AutoZone, Tractor Supply Co. Hobby Lobby, Jason’s Deli and Dollar General.
