Connell Company Launches Second Residential Tower at Berkeley Heights Mixed-Use

The Connell Company has started construction on RT600, its new 149-unit residential tower as part of the $500-million redevelopment of The Park in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Local stakeholders, including Berkeley Heights Mayor Angie Devanney, joined key executives from The Connell Company to mark the start of construction.

“RT600 marks an exciting step in the Park’s evolution to a destination neighborhood,” said Shane Connell, EVP at The Connell Company. “We continue to see incredible demand for locations that offer walkability to shopping, dining and entertainment and RT600 will give residents access to a truly unique experience at The Park.”

The start of RT600 construction follows the topping out of The Park’s first residential tower, RT500, which will contain 179 units across eleven floors. The District at The Park project is overseen by GS Ferguson, serving as the owner’s representative, with SOCO Construction managing the RT600 building and the north side of District Drive, including RT500 and the surrounding retail spaces.
