Connect New York Conference Will Explore Industry Drivers

With subject matter ranging from the macroeconomic outlook to who’s developing and leasing what and where in the city, this year’s Connect New York event promises to explore trends and drivers shaping commercial real estate locally. It’s set for Wednesday, April 29 at Charlie Palmer in Midtown.

Confirmed speakers to date include CBRE’s Spencer Levy and Real Capital Analytics’ Jim Costello, who will team up for a near-term and long-term perspective on global and domestic economic and CRE drivers; Transwestern’s Steve Pumper; Walker & Dunlop’s Jonathan Schwartz; and Parkview Financial’s Larry Perry.

We’ll be adding more speakers continuously over the next eight weeks. Along with the economic update, panel topics include “Capital Markets at Work: NY vs. The Nation,” “Buy, Build, Sell, Lease: Who is Taking & Making Space” and “Financing Today’s Deals.”There will also be a keynote conversation with a sepecial guest speaker.

At the conclusion of the panel discussions, we’ll spotlight this year’s New York and New York-based winners of the annual Top Broker Awards. As is customary at Connect events, the awards presentation will be followed by a networking cocktail reception.
