Connect CRE’s last live event before the onset of the pandemic was Connect Industrial Midwest in Rosemont, IL. Two years after the onset of an unexpected hiatus, we’re returning to in-person events with Connect Midwest: Our New “Normal,” Challenges, Changes and Opportunities, also occurring in Rosemont. It’s slated for Tuesday, May 10 at Joe’s Live from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.  

While the March 2020 event focused squarely on the region’s booming industrial sector, Connect Midwest will cover all asset classes from both a high-level and close-up perspective. The “View from the Top” panel brings together industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities on the rise across all property types. 

You’ll hear from Terraco Real Estate’s Scott Gendell, Sterling Bay’s Dr. Suzet McKinney, Clear Height Properties’ Gary Rose and Parkside Realty’s Barbara Schenberg. Moderating the conversation will be Damla Gerhart, managing director—Chicago with Avison Young. 

Following that panel will be “Live, Work, Play: Workplace Trends, Housing, and Entertainment Driving the End User,” to be moderated by Thomas D. McElroy, II, principal and CEO, Level-1 Global Solutions. You’ll hear insights from a variety of vantage points, courtesy of The Onni Group’s Brian Brodeur, Placer.ai’s R. J. Hottovy, Kastle’s Charles Lutz and CRG’s Alison Mills. 

Following the back-to-back panel discussions will be an hour of networking, cocktails and appetizers. This is a ticketed event; tickets are complimentary, and registrations will be accepted onsite.
