Connect Media, a multi-platform news, events, creative services and educational company, expanded its Connect CRE News editorial team with the addition of Content Directors Emily Fu and Angela Noote. Fu, formerly with Commercial Observer, covers the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region with a focus on Boston, New York, and Washington, DC. Noote, previously a Communications Program Manager with CBRE, covers the Southeast.

In addition to Commercial Observer, Fu was with Reuters and Seeking Alpha and has covered the financial side of the commercial real estate industry, technology, media, telecom (TMT), and fashion. She attended the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and currently resides in Manhattan. Fu will also be a contributor to Connect Media’s recently launched Connect Money, which covers the business of financial services.

Prior to CBRE, Noote, who graduated from Chico State in California with a degree in public relations, was an editor and reporter for a California Central Coast news publication. As a corporate communications executive, she built and managed several successful marketing teams in the hospitality, financial services, and nonprofit industries. Additionally, she has written for companies in the financial, luxury imports, higher education, commercial cleaning, and medical equipment industries.
