With the new year now underway, Connect Conferences is ready for its first event out of the gate: Connect Houston. The conference, scheduled for Feb. 4, 2020 at the

Westin Galleria Houston, will offer knowledgeable speakers, who will provide insights on everything from financing and development, to the economy and politics.
How in its fourth year, Connect Houston has defined trends and issues impacting commercial real estate across the broad metropolitan statistical area. This year’s event will be no different, with the lineup consisting of:
Capital Markets. With the Urban Land Institute ranking Houston among the top areas for capital, panelists will share how deals are being financed, and which assets are currently “in vogue” among investors.
Kelly Blaskowsky, Roscoe Property Management
Multifamily. As the region shakes off the economic slump from “low oil,” experts will discuss area market fundamentals, trends in development, and why Houston is considered by investors as an ideal target metro.
Industry Leaders. Local industry leaders will share their thoughts on topics ranging from Fed rate cuts, to tenant experiences, to even climate change. The speakers will also polish their crystal ball, and offer forecasts for 2020.

Houston’s Many Faces. The Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land Metropolitan Statistical Area consists of nine counties, covering more than 9,444 square miles (an area larger than five states), and containing a population of close to seven million. This panel will discuss different characteristics of the metro, and how each stimulates the city’s economy and commercial real estate.
Registration will begin at 12:45 p.m., with the conference starting at 1:15 p.m. Following the conclusion, a closing cocktail reception will take place from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Early bird discount expires on Jan. 10, 2020. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
