Compass Self-Storage Nabs North Fort Worth Facility

Compass Self Storage, a member of the Amsdell family of companies, acquired a self-storage center in North Fort Worth at 4209 Alliance Gateway Rd. from the Plano, TX seller. The sales price of the 49,000-square-foot facility was undisclosed. The Tarrant Central Appraisal District valued it at $2.1 million.

The buy was Compass’ eighth since the start of 2017, and it takes the total number of self-storage centers to 77 nationwide. The newest purchase has covered RV/boat storage spaces, drive-up units and climate-controlled spaces. The new owner plans to upgrade the property with security systems and individual digital customer access controls.
