Compass’ Polsinellis Market East Village Duo

Compass’ Adelaide Polsinelli and Trystan Polsinelli have been hired to market 169 and 171 First Ave. in the East Village. The buildings may be bought separately or as a package.

The five-story 171 First is notable as the home of celebrity chef David Chang’s first restaurant: Momofuko Noodle Bar, which opened here in 2004. “He was instrumental in making the East Village a destination for quality casual dining,” said Adelaide Polsinelli. “Momofuko enjoys a long lease, and will remain in the space for years to come.”

The property’s next-door neighbor, 169 First, includes 6,508 square feet of unused development rights. The three-story building consists of a ground-floor retail space, and a free market duplex apartment on the upper floors.

“You can’t ask for a better location,” said Trystan Polsinelli. “This offering is in a neighborhood driven by strong demographics and great transportation.”
