Community Wholesale Tire Leases 204K-SF in Hunt Midwest Business Center
Hunt Midwest has broken ground on a build-to-suit facility for Community Wholesale Tire at Hunt Midwest Business Center (HMBC), the expansive 2,500-acre industrial mega-site development just east of Interstate 435 in Kansas City’s established Clay County industrial corridor.
Community Wholesale Tire, already one of the largest family-owned and operated tire distributors in the Midwest, will fully occupy HMBC Logistics V, a new 203,899-square-foot facility that will increase and modernize its distribution center footprint in Kansas City. The tire company joins a growing list of HMBC businesses.
The new location will offer Community Wholesale Tire unparalleled access to major interstates, rail, first-stop/last-stop transportation hubs, a robust local labor force, and established bus routes. “Community Wholesale Tire also fits perfectly into our growing Automotive Alley as suppliers and upfitters prepare for the next generation of electric Ford Transit vehicles,” said Mike Bell, Hunt Midwest Senior Vice President for Commercial Real Estate.
