Community College Expands to Nearly 40% of 255 Greenwich

The Borough of Manhattan Community College is expanding its presence at Jack Resnick & Sons’ 255 Greenwich St. in Lower Manhattan. The 77,882-square-foot expansion grows the college’s footprint at 255 Greenwich to nearly 40% of the property, or 244,941 square feet.

“BMCC is one of Lower Manhattan’s most dynamic institutions, and we are pleased to assist them in creating a vibrant learning community designed for New York City residents and students from around the world,” said Jonathan Resnick, president of Resnick & Sons. The college is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system.

Resnick & Sons’ Brett Greenberg and Adam Rappaport represented building ownership in the 17-year lease. CBRE’s Stephen Siegel, David Hollander and Richard Levine of CBRE advised CUNY.
