Coming to Santa Ana: A New Urban Village
A new urban village is coming to Santa Ana, CA, in the form of the ’27 Hundred’ apartment community. Irvine, CA-based Principal of Professional Real Estate Services’ (PRES) redevelopment of the 2700 Main Office Tower site includes a planned residential component that will be incorporated into surface parking areas surrounding the MainPlace mall.
The 247-unit, two-building project at 2700 Main St. is the final piece in a sustainable live-work-play environment. The design of 27 Hundred reflects TCA Architects’ “War on Asphalt” urban redevelopment strategy, which reclaims underutilized surface parking for better community uses.
A third-floor central landscaped paseo runs the length of the community, connecting an elevated garden court to the resort style pool deck, complete with over-sized lap pool, linear spa and three-story waterfall cascading down to a landscaped park.
Construction is expected to launch in Q1 2018.
