Coming to Hays County: Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club

Arizona developer Discovery Land Co. LLC unveiled plans to build the Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club in northern Hays County, Texas. The $250 million, 800-acre master-planned community will include 300 luxury houses, and a golf course and private club near the popular Salt Lick BBQ restaurant in Driftwood, TX, southwest of Austin.

The project, which is being built at 582 Thurman Roberts Way at FM 1826 and RM 967, is expected to take approximately 10 years to complete, though the amenities will be finished sooner. Construction on the golf course is anticipated to begin in January 2019, with delivery anticipated in Q2 2020. Construction on the first houses will begin in March 2019. Custom lots will start at $1 million, and completed homes will be offered at $2 million.
