Comcast Pre-Leases 212K SF at Colorado Spec Project

Comcast Corp. pre-leased 212,000 square feet at INOVA I, a five-story building located in INOVA Dry Creek business park in Centennial, CO. INOVA I, which broke ground last year as the market’s first spec development of its type in 15 years, is slated to deliver in Q4 2016.

Minneapolis-based United Properties and Des Moines, IA-based Principal Real Estate Investors are developing the 650,000-square-foot, 58-acre mixed-use office, flex and residential campus.

United Properties’ Kevin Kelley says Comcast’s deal confirms the development is “on the right track” for tenant demand in the southeastern suburban market. That success prompted the developer to move forward on INOVA II, another spec 235,800-square-foot office building slated for completion 3Q 2017.

NGKF’s Jason Addlesperger, Dave Lee and Mike Wafer, SIOR, represented the development team in the transaction. JLL’s Todd Roebken, David Welker and Greg Bante represented Comcast Corp.
