102-unit Thorton, CO BTR community sells for $48M

Colorado BTR Community Sells for Over $450K a Unit

A new community of build-to-rent homes has sold for $48.6 million in Thornton, Colorado. D.R. Horton built, and now has sold Amber Creek, a residential community of rental homes located southeast of East 135th Avenue and Quebec Street. The Amber Creek community comprises 102 home sites adjacent to a King Soopers grocery store located at 13525 Quebec St. The homes have three- and four-bedroom options, ranging from 1,468 square feet to 1,668 square feet. Amenities at Amber Creek include a park, playground and two-car garages. 

Progress Residential will be taking over property management for the community. Progress Residential rents single-family homes in close to 40 cities across the United States. The company has many single-family rentals in and around the Denver area, including in Commerce City, Parker, Aurora, Littleton and Centennial.
