Colliers to Handle Leasing for WeWork’s Dock 72 Space
Colliers International will lead leasing efforts for WeWork at the forthcoming Dock 72 project in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The venture makes Colliers the exclusive leasing agent for WeWork’s six floors, totaling 220,000 square feet, in the 16-story, 675,000-square-foot office building currently under construction by Boston Properties and Rudin Development.
The space, called WeWork at Dock 72, is a major component of the first groundup office property Brooklyn has seen in more than three decades. Dock 72 features 360-degree waterfront views of Manhattan and Brooklyn, 35,000 square feet of common indoor amenities, 10,000 square feet of outdoor amenities, 18,000 square feet of private terraces and a 15,000-square-foot wellness center.
“WeWork is obviously an incredibly innovative company that’s reshaping commercial office space for the next generation,” said Ted Koltis at Colliers. He’s leading a leasing team that includes Reid Longley, Cryder Bancroft, Connor Sullivan, Aidan Campbell Noah Weinberg and Sayo Kamara.
