Colliers Team Brings Oberg Medical in from the Suburbs

Colliers International | Chicago’s Chris Volkert and Brendan Green represented Oberg Medical Products Company in a full-building industrial lease at 4311 N. Normandy Ave. on the North Side. Oberg will consolidate facilities from suburban Elk Grove Village and Niles into the new facility, where it will occupy 60,126 square feet.

Built in 1997, 4311 N. Normandy offers 25-foot clear height and four exterior docks. Venture One Real Estate purchased the property in October 2018, and since then has conducted interior demolition and renovation work.

“The modern industrial building checked the boxes for our client’s real estate requirements, including heavy power and manufacturing amenities, labor and highway access, and an existing 6B tax classification,” said Green, an SVP with Colliers | Chicago.

Brett Kroner of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in the deal.
