Colliers Team Arranges Industrial Sale-Leaseback

Colliers’ Patrick Turner, Tom Rodeno and Joe Connor represented RT Group Logistics in the sale-leaseback of its 49,793-square-foot Industrial Service Facility located at 700 Chase Ave. in Elk Grove, IL to an undisclosed buyer.

The trucking company signed a lease to remain at the property, which includes a truck maintenance facility with parking for 40-plus trailers on the 4.2-acre site. It serves as a mission critical maintenance facility and parking hub for the company.

Its central location in Elk Grove gives the property a short connection to the U.S. supply chain infrastructure that crisscrosses the area including I-90 and I-390 as well as O’Hare International Airport. The new owner plans to make several improvements to the property when the tenant’s lease expires in three years.

Turner said, “Despite an uncertain capital markets environment, there remains significant demand for well-located infill properties with heavy outside storage and trailer parking.”
