Colliers’ Raul Saavedra Tapped to Lease AVAIO Digital Data Center

Colliers vice chair Raul Saavedra, head of data center advisory, Americas, has been named the exclusive leasing agent for AVAIO Digital’s Project Perseus, a 76-acre campus outside Pittsburg. The Perseus data center has just achieved the California Energy Commission’s final validation of Phase 1 power, securing 99MW of capacity set for delivery in 2027.

“The CEC’s approval underscores Project Perseus’ status as a truly unique platform in the Bay Area: an immediately available large-scale data center with the lowest power costs in the market and already zoned for substantial expansion — all attributes that remain exceptionally hard to find in today’s data center landscape,” said Mark McComiskey, CEO, AVAIO Digital.

In addition to 99MW validated power, Perseus offers direct access to seven 230kV transmission lines, fiber-optic connectivity and 100% recycled water cooling. Its location 35 miles from San Francisco and 45 miles from Silicon Valley makes it suitable for hyperscale, AI and cloud infrastructure needs, Colliers said.
