Colliers Names Two to Market Leader Roles

Jason Lund, most recently with WeWork, has joined Colliers International as executive managing director, New York City market leader. Additionally, Stephen Shapiro has been promoted to executive managing director, tri-state suburban market leader.

In his new role, Lund will focus on recruitment, all broker matters and business development, according to an internal memorandum from David Amsterdam, president, investments and Eastern region president at Colliers. Prior to joining WeWork, the 21-year industry veteran held positions at Staubach, Cushman & Wakefield and NKF.

Shapiro will now have oversight of Colliers’ offices in Connecticut, Long Island and New Jersey. He’ll maintain his current role as director of operations for the entire tri-state region, including New York City, where he will continue to be based.
