Colliers Names Michael Semmelmeyer as San Francisco Retail VP

Colliers International’s San Francisco team has on-boarded City retail expert Michael Semmelmeyer as a vice president and retail broker. Semmelmeyer is known for his expertise in mixed-use urban lifestyle retail leasing in the Northern California region.

Semmelmeyer joins Colliers from a tenure at Main Street Property Services, Inc. In that role, he represented high profile developers, retailers and restauranteurs on urban infill projects for Equity Residential, The Related Companies, Carmel Partners, Lowe Enterprises, Blake Griggs, Wood Partners and Prudential.

He has also cultivated relationships with retailers and restaurants including Boba Guys, Omakase Restaurant Group, Club Pilates, Shiki Japanese, California College of the Arts, Pizza Squared, Studio Montessori, Wells Fargo, Peet’s Coffee, Niku Steakhouse, The Butcher Shop by Niku and others.

Semmelmeyer is also an active member of ICSC and was named one of CoStar’s Power Brokers in 2016.
