Colliers Names Chaise Smith to SVP Role in Tysons Corner
Colliers has appointed Chaise Schmidt as SVP in the firm’s Tysons Corner, VA office. In her role, Schmidt will focus on tenant needs throughout NoVa and the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Prior to joining Colliers Schmidt spent nearly six years at Cushman & Wakefield, where she specialized in tenant representation, including office headquarter relocations and real estate dispositions on behalf of her national and international client base.
She was part of a team that notably completed the 205,000-square-foot headquarters relocation for Appian Corporation in Tysons Corner as well as the 120,000-square-foot deal for Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in National Landing. Other leading clients Schmidt has represented have included Freddie Mac, Hyundai, Somatus and JD Power.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Schmidt worked with Transwestern for six years in Atlanta and Denver. She is affiliated with several non-profit organizations including Commercial Real Estate Women, CoreNet Global and Women on Course.
