Colliers Mortgage Adds Tommy Adelson, Jessica Mania

Colliers Mortgage, the debt financing arm of Colliers | U.S., has hired real estate investment veterans Tommy Adelson as VP, transactions, and Jessica Mania as VP, research and marketing. The announcements follow the recent hiring of Jonathan Lee and partner Shahin Yazdi to Colliers Mortgage as co-leaders of the firm’s Structured Finance Group in Los Angeles.

“As we continue to build out our team, we are looking for rising industry leaders who have the experience, integrity and drive to get even the most difficult deals done, from sourcing to close,” stated Lee. “Over the past 10 years Tommy has proven to be just that and we are excited to have him aboard.”

Similarly, “our past working experience with Jessica just cemented our belief that her research expertise and marketing acumen were needed in a rapidly expanding organization such as Colliers Mortgage,” said Shahin.

Adelson brings more than a decade of real estate debt and equity experience to his position at Colliers Mortgage. Most recently, he was a director at Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), and before that was VP at George Smith Partners, where he was part of a team that sourced approximately $900 million of commercial real estate debt and equity in 2022.

For the past two and half years, Mania served at George Smith Partners, where her most recent position was director of research and marketing.
