Colliers, L.H. Charney Unveil Repositioned Midtown Towers

Amid the challenges of the pandemic, Colliers and L.H. Charney Associates said they had completed 67,297 square-feet of leases at 1410 Broadway and 10 Times Square (also known as 1441 Broadway) in Manhattan over the past 15 months.

Colliers’ Rick Doolittle and JP Howard represented Charney in each of the transactions. The leases were headlined by a new, long-term expansion and extension signed by Wellspring Philanthropic Fund for nearly 27,000 square-feet.

Along with the leases, Colliers and Charney announced the “reintroduction” of these Midtown office buildings, which have recently undergone $50 million in capital improvements. Overseeing the process is Joseph Giannola, who joined Charney as COO in late 2020.

“While the past year has certainly been a challenge, the activity that we have seen over the past couple of months is encouraging and is indicative of our firm’s vision for these properties and for Manhattan in general,” said Giannola.
