Colliers, Hilco Tapped to Sell DTLA’s Oceanwide Plaza Site

Colliers and Hilco Real Estate have been awarded the listing assignment for one of Downtown Los Angeles’ largest and most ambitious development projects, the mixed-use residential, hotel and retail complex Oceanwide Plaza at 1101 S. Flower St. The assignment, subject to bankruptcy court approval, comes to the firms following an appointment by Oceanwide Plaza, LLC.

EVPs Mark Tarczynski and Nathan A. Fong, SVP Adam Tischer and VP Andy Y. Kazama of Colliers and Hilco EVP Jeffrey Azuse and VPs Daniel Miggins and Jamie Cote have the assignment. “Representing a truly remarkable opportunity, Oceanwide Plaza is an important and iconic development, central to Downtown Los Angeles and across from Crypto.com Arena,” said Tarczynski. “We are determined to run a disciplined and orderly process to identify the right developer to finish the project in time for the 2028 Summer Olympics.”

The unfinished project encompasses three towers occupying an entire city block and is designed to house a Park Hyatt hotel, serviced residences and luxury condominiums, along with retail space and private parks. Once completed, Oceanwide Plaza will span 1.5 million square feet.
