Colliers Closes Sale of MOB Near Northside Hospital Cherokee

Colliers arranged the sale of a premier medical office building located at 1521 Hickory Flat Hwy. in Canton, GA. EVPs Michael Lipton and Josh Gregory represented the seller, a joint venture between several medical practices. The buyer, Northside Hospital, was represented by Charlie Dickhaus of Realty Trust Group, LLC.

1521 Hickory Flat Hwy. is a Class A, 36,000-square-foot medical office building that was completed in 2021. It is one of two new MOBs built in the area, with easy access to I-575 and proximity to Northside Hospital Cherokee. The building is mostly leased by Northside Hospital, a hospital and healthcare company based in Cumming, GA.

Lipton said the JV initially purchased 1495 Hickory Flat intending to build a second twin building. “The project quickly filled up with premier practices including Roswell OB/GYN, Heart & Vascular Care, North Atlanta Primary Care, Resurgens & Cleaver Dermatology.” Northside pre-leased most of 1521.
