Colliers Brokers Sale of 1,087-Bed Student Housing Property in Statesboro

Colliers has arranged the sale of Cottage Row, a 1,087-bed, off-campus student housing community in Statesboro, GA. The community is nearby Georgia Southern University. The sales price was not disclosed.

Located at 17358 GA-67 S, the 339-unit community led the local student housing market in pre-lease velocity for both academic year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. The transaction represents the largest student housing sale in the market since 2016.

Sean Baird, Jonathan Holt and Will Mathews of Colliers represented the seller, Rialto Capital Advisors, in the transaction. The buyer was XFD Real Estate Partners in a joint venture with New York-based investment firm Ash Real Estate, along with Saxum Real Estate and Anchor Real Estate Capital.
