Colliers Brings in Carris as Chicago Leader

Colliers International has brought in Jim Carris (pictured) as executive managing director and market leader for its operations in Chicago. He’ll lead the Colliers team in Chicago and advise investors, corporate users and landlords across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions.

“Attracting top-tier talent like Jim is a big win for Colliers and is an important step in continuing to recruit the best and brightest in the industry,” said Marty Pupil, Colliers International president | U.S. brokerage. “With Jim leading our team in Chicago, I have no doubt our operations will continue to grow and gain market share in this incredibly important gateway market.”

The 30-year veteran has held positions with major commercial real estate services firm as well as energy companies. Carris will partner with Colliers Chicago COO Phil Stafford and the existing leadership team to continue to drive the company’s growth objectives.
