Colliers Arranges 99K-SF Lease to Chicago Department of Aviation
Colliers‘ Jonathon Connor, Francis Prock and Jason Simon recently represented FCA Partners, owners of U.S. Cellular Plaza, in its 99,421-square-foot lease to the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA).
FCA has owned the property debt-free since 2011 and recently completed a $15 million capital improvement campaign. U.S. Cellular is a three-building, 637,000-square-foot office complex located at 8410/8420/8430 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago.
The CDA will occupy floors five through nine in the 8420 building. Avison Young’s Fred Ishler represented CDA in the transaction. The CDA will relocate from a facility on O’Hare’s grounds to its new space immediately.
U.S. Cellular Plaza, made up of three eleven-story Class A buildings, is an amenity-rich office campus. “FCA’s continued investment in this strategically located asset continues to impress prospective tenants who are drawn to its enhanced amenities offering and unmatched access to major highways, the CBD and O’Hare,” said Connor, a senior vice president at Colliers.
