Colliers Arranges 20K-SF Retail Lease to Galleria Furniture in Joliet

Colliers’ Chris Irwin and Brad Belden recently represented RMS in its lease of a 20,000-square-foot storefront at Marycrest Shopping Center, 2134 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet, Illinois, to Galleria Furniture.

Eli Munoz with Wirtz Real Estate represented Galleria Furniture in the transaction. The signing brings the center to 93% leased. Marycrest Shopping Center is a 171,000-square-foot strip center with 1,000 feet of frontage along Jefferson St. in the heart of downtown Joliet.

The property features a mixture of retail, storage, and office space. It was renovated in 2018 and is located close to I-80 and I-55. Tenants include Provena Health, Joliet Bank & Trust, Rent-A-Center, Golden Corral, Dollar Tree, Sidelines Sports Bar, Posh Salon Suites, Clair Beauty Mart, Popus Gourmet Popcorn and Basinger’s Pharmacy.
