Colliers Adds Trio with Two-Year Transaction Volumn of $750M to Retail Investment Sales Efforts

Colliers has welcomed and Orlando-based retail investment sale team consisting of brokers Brad Peterson, Whitaker Leonhardt and Michael Brewster. The team works with institutional and private capital investors to facilitate retail investment sales transactions.

The team, previously at JLL in Orlando, has handled $750 million in transaction volume since January 1, 2021.

In his 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Peterson has been involved in the sale of more than 350 shopping centers and single-tenant investments with an aggregate value of more than $5.5 billion. Prior to joining Colliers, he led the JLL Orlando capital markets group.

In his 15 years of commercial real estate experience, Leonhardt has been involved in more than $2.5 billion in sales and financing transactions. He was a senior director in the Orlando office of JLL capital markets (and HFF until JLL’s acquisition in 2019) for 10 years. At HFF and then JLL, Brewster served as a net lease specialist and focused on the sale, purchase and recapitalization of single-tenant net leased assets in the US.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
