College Suites at Brockport Bought by EMET Capital Management

EMET Capital Management bought College Suites at Brockport, a community with 114 student housing apartments (or 401 beds) serving The College at Brockport SUNY in Brockport, NY.

“The demand for this well-located, off-campus housing property was very strong among private investors, as they saw the significant upside potential,” said Jose Cruz, senior managing director for in the Florham Park, NJ, office of HFF, who with Andrew Scandalios, Kevin O’Hearn, Michael Oliver, Stephen Simonelli, Jordan Avanzato and Ryan McBride represented the seller in the transaction.

Completed in 2009, the property at 4599 Redman Rd. is one of the closest privately-owned student housing properties to campus, and includes a mix of two, three and four-bedroom fully furnished floorplans. A complimentary shuttle bus carries students to the school.
