Coldwell Banker Commercial Arranges Deal for Kane County Storage Facility
Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Group represented the buyer in the purchase of US 30 Self Storage, located at 1400 Bohr Ave., in the Kane County community of Montgomery, IL. The transaction was valued at $3.4 million.
The property is a Class A self-storage facility for 278 enclosed self-storage units, and 268 premium paved parking spaces for boats and RV’s. It was originally constructed in 2005, and additional enclosed units were added in 2021.
Richard Faltz and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Group provided transaction advisory services to the undisclosed buyer to identify various self-storage acquisition opportunities, which met the needs of the buyer as part of this assignment and successful negotiation on behalf of the buyer. Faltz specializes in self-storage investment as the premier tax advantaged hedge to current inflation markets.
