Coffee TAB to Open at Vulcan Real Estate’s 23rd & Jackson in Seattle
Vulcan Real Estate announced that Coffee TAB, a nonprofit coffee shop and workforce development program, is opening this summer at 23rd & Jackson in Seattle’s central area. The location will activate the northeast corner storefront at 23rd & Jackson, owned by Vulcan Real Estate.
With locations in Belltown and Pioneer Square, Coffee TAB offers an apprenticeship program where participants gain real-world experience in customer service, coffee preparation, workplace communication, and professional responsibility.
“When a business chooses to invest in this corner and in our young people at the same time, the whole neighborhood feels it,” said Seattle City Council President Joy Hollingsworth. “Coffee TAB is bringing opportunity, connection, and energy to the heart of the Central Area, and I’m proud to see it take root here.”
Since 2000, Vulcan Real Estate has invested $6.5 billion in developing 52 projects comprising 10.3 million square feet of commercial space and 4,250 residential units. Sixty percent of the development projects are located in South Lake Union.
